Ankle deep in the holiday season, and also still slighty groggy from Thanksgiving feasts, we prepare musically for the short daylight hours of December and the lengthening days which are  less than a month away!

This program will air on Sunday, November 25th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Bill Staines will be appearing at Seven Stars Arts Center (SSAC) in Sharon , VT for a special fundraising concert to benefit SSAC.  This concert, on December 1st  at 7p.m., will help with the operating costs of the non-profit arts center.

Singer-songwriter Amy Rigby will perform at the Ripton Community Coffee House on Saturday, December 1st at 7:30 p.m., Ripton Community House.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Country music superstar Lorrie Morgan brings international tour to Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph on Saturday, December 1st at 7:30 p.m.

Anima and the Fyre and Lightning Consort will join to present Splendid Star!, a concert of Medieval and Renaissance music for early winter, on Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m., at the United Church of Cabot; Saturday, December 1st at 7 p.m., at Christ Church, Montpelier; andSunday,December 2nd at 5 p.m. at the Green Mountain Monastery in Greensboro. 

The Zeichner Trio plays Irish & Appalachian Music at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library, 8 River Rd. in Jericho on Sunday, December 2nd  at 2 p.m.

Dave Keller will be performing solo at the Quarry in Barre on Friday November 30th at 7 p.m. and at the beer hall in Spruce Peak Village in Stowe on Saturday December 1st at 2 p.m. 

The Sky Blue Boys and Cookie will be playing at the Whammy Bar in Calais on Friday November 30th at 7:30 p.m.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
