Art Hounds: Carvings, Cabaret And Spanish Love Songs

This carving from Anna Hranovska Vincelette is one of the pieces on display at a pop-up gallery from Long River Gallery And Gifts in White River Junction.

Intricate carvings with hidden images grace a pop-up gallery in White River Junction, plus students from a voice studio perform a holiday cabaret.

Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5 p.m. at Spotlight Vermont in South Burlington: Holiday Cabaret from Bill Reed Voice Studio students.

Through December at Long River Gallery and Gifts Pop-Up Gallery in Lyme, New Hampshire:  Works and weavings by Doug Masury and carvings by Anna Hranovska Vincelette, suggested by Dave Celone in White River Junction.

Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 17 and 18 at The Flynn Theater in Burlington: 'The Nutcracker' performed by Vermont Ballet Theater suggested by Heather Clifford of Essex Junction.

Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. at NextStage Theater in Putney: Concert of Spanish Love Songs with soprano Laura Strickling and pianist Liza Stepanova honoring the music of Enrique Granados suggested by Toby Young of Putney.
