A lot of us have been in conversations lately about what it's like to be a woman in this particular political and cultural moment. On the next Vermont Edition, we're moving that conversation into the studio. We've invited a group of women to dive into some pretty big questions — how they're thinking about and noticing sexism, opportunity, personal identity and the messages that are reverberating for women and girls right now.
Our guests for this discussion are:
- Hayden Cleverly, senior at the University of Vermont
- Nikki Fuller, director of equity affairs for Burlington schools
- Rabbi Amy Small of Ohavi Zedek Synagogue in Burlington
- Diane Snelling, longtime Vermont state senator
- Jessamyn West, librarian and advocate
Broadcast live on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
