Yes it was....All the Traditions debuted on VPR on October 13th, 1996, and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary by featuring some of the many local artists who have performed live on the show ! It's been a marvelous musical ride so far, and we're still going strong!

On Friday October 21st , Linda Warnaar will hold a CD Release Concert at the United Community Church on Main Street in St. Johnsbury at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday October 22nd at 7 p.m. Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing host the 6th Annual “Kingdom Bluegrass Jamboree” at the Twilight Theater at Lyndon State College. Also appearing will be the acclaimed Americana trio Low Lily, plus The Bayley Hazen Boys and much more!
The Monadnock Folklore Society presents Alan Reid and Rob VanSante on Saturday, October 22nd at 8 p.m. at the Nelson, NH Town Hall for an evening Scottish music.
Woodbury Strings presents a family contradance cabaret on Friday, October 21st, which includes a family Open Mic and a contradance with Lausanne Allen calling and the Woodbury Strings Band Lab providing the music. The event takes place at the Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington.
There will be an Anniversary Swing Dance with Lewis Franco and the Missing Cats at The Champlain Club, 20 Crowley St. in Burlington on Saturday October 22nd from 8–11 p.m.
Possumhaw will be performing on Saturday, October 22nd as part of the Stone Church Arts Concert series, located at 14 Church Street in Bellows Falls. Music begins at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a contradance at the Tinmouth Community Center on Friday October 21st with Luke Donforth calling and with music provided by Shindy. Dancing begins at 8 p.m.
Next Stage Arts Project is delighted to welcome back Patty Larkin on Saturday October 22nd at 7:30pm, at Next Stage in Putney.
Willa Mamet and Paul Miller will be performing at the Stowe St. Café in Waterbury on Tuesday October 18th at 6 p.m and at the Black Box Theater at Main Street Landing in Burlington on Thursday October 20th from 7-9 p.m.
A Community Music and Dance Party will be held on October 22nd from 6:30 – 10:30pm at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph. This intergenerational social is the second of the “Live and Upstairs!” series of community engagement arts events to be hosted in the Upper Gallery. Dance callers Robin Russell and Martha Kent teach a variety of dances from the village cultural traditions of the British Isles, Ireland, Scotland and France. Traditional dance music is provided by “Larks in the Attic” (Susan Reid –fiddle, Linda Young – celtic harp, Pam Bockes – guitar).
The Yonder Mountain String Band will perform at Higher Ground in South Burlington on Saturday October 22nd.
