We tackle two big stories in Vermont news in today's program.

Q Burke Raided By Feds

An investigation has been launched at Q Burke Mountain Resort in the Northeast Kingdom, but state officials have offered little details regarding the probe. Gov. Peter Shumlin's office issued a statement Wednesday night that made reference to a "situation" unfolding at the East Burke ski resort. Reporter Hillary Niles joins us to explain how the raid is connected to a visa program for foreign investors.

PFOA Update

New results are back from water testing for PFOA in Bennington County. VPR's Howard Weiss-Tisman updates us that, where else the state might test, and the ongoing questions around what are safe levels of PFOA.
