This week's calendar announcements:

Katie Trautz will be performing at ArtsRiot on Pine St. in Burlington on Thursday April 21st with songwriters Mo Kenney and Hannah Fair – doors open at 8 p.m. for the 8:30 show.

John Specker will perform a solo concert of traditional American music on Sunday, April 24th, from 2- 4 p.m. at the Andover Town Hall. Admission is free.

Twilight Music and Next Stage Arts Project present an evening of high energy Scottish music by Dan Houghton and Cantrip, and American folk music with traditional influences and modern inspiration by Low Lily, at Next Stage on Saturday, April 23rd at 7:30 p.m.

Cantrip will also be performing on Friday April 22nd at the Meetinghouse Café in Bennington at 8 p.m. and at the North Church in St. Johnsbury on Sunday April 24th at 7:30 p.m.

Michael Hurley has added another show in E. Fairfield after his first scheduled show sold out. The concert will be held at the Meeting House on the Green in E. Fairfield on Tuesday April 19th – doors open at  6:30, and the show is at 7 p.m. Call  802-827-6626 to make sure there are still tickets available!

The Monadnock Folklore Society presents the fourth in its series of English Country Dances with the theme “Dance Around Monadnock” on Sunday April 24th  from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Dublin Town Hall in Dublin, NH, with Allison Aldrich Smith teaching dances that will appeal to all, from novice to experienced dancers. Lovely music will be provided by performers Aldo Fabrizi, mandolin and Kate Barnes, piano.

Natalie Haas and Yann Falquet will be performing at a house concert in Shelburne on Sunday April 24th. For reservations and information, please contactjjames@cssu.org.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
