Art Hounds: The Working Forest, Art For Seniors & 100-Year-Old Film

Artist Jen Lavoie's piece now on display and up for auction as part of the fourth annual "A Show Of Hands" at Penny Cluse Cafe in Burlington to benefit Helping And Nurturing Diverse Seniors.

Eric Ford from Westford is the communications director at Burlington City Arts and recommended the fourth annual Show Of HANDS, with artwork from nearly 100 artists auctioned to benefit the organization Helping And Nurturing Diverse Seniors, now showing at Penny Cluse Cafe in Burlington with the silent auction on Thursday, March 31 from 5:30  to 8 p.m.

Writer Terry Cleveland from Georgia suggested Shedding Light On The Working Forest at Vermont Folklife Center in Middlebury through April 30.

Photographer Jordan Douglas from Jericho suggested the 100-year-old film, A Vermont Romance, and the statewide screenings offered by Vermont International Film Festival's Vermont Archive Movie Project, beginning March 26 in Montpelier.
