Town Meeting Day traditionally marks the midpoint of the Legislative session. In the weeks ahead, the Legislature will continue to debate the legalization of marijuana, the siting of renewable energy projects and a new tax on independent doctors and dentists.
We talk to House Speaker Shap Smith about these issues and hear about his priorities for the second half of the session.
Also on the program, Seven Days Political Editor and Columnist Paul Heintz is following the upcoming Democratic Presidential primary in South Carolina. We get an update from him ahead of Saturday's vote.
