What Happened In Vegas?: Recapping The Democratic Presidential Debate

John Locker
/
AP
The first Democratic Presidential Debate was Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

After two Republican Presidential Debates, the Democrats have their turn in Las Vegas. Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O'Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee take the stage for the first Democratic Presidential Debate.

Megan Remmel, Norwich University political science professor, and Eric Davis, Middlebury College professor emeritus of political science, discuss who said what and how each candidate fared.

Also on the program, 53 of Vermont's 300+ schools have a high enough percentage of low-income students that the entire school qualifies for a federal free school meals program. We visit one of those schools - Johnson Elementary.

Broadcast live on Wed., Oct. 14, 2015 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
