Art Hounds: Mountainous Photography & Songs For Peace

Artist, Tom Fels
A cyanotype by artist, Tom Fels, part of the 'Line And Shadow' exhibit up now at Jackson Gallery in Middlebury.

Mary Byrne of Mendon is a local arts patron and suggested, Mountains To Mountains, People To People, a photography exhibit and auction featuring local works to benefit Nepalese earthquake victims. The event is Saturday, September 19th at the Andrea Mead Lawrence Lodge at Pico Mountain in Mendon.

Artist Kate Gridley from Middlebury recommended the cyanotype print exhibit, Line And Shadow by Tom Fels at the Jackson Gallery in Town Hall Theater Middlebury up through the end of September.

Chapin Kaynor sings with the Robert DeCormier Singers and suggested Vermont Sings For Peace concerts on Sunday, September 20th at the St. Michael's College Chapel at 2:30 p.m., featuring many performances by Counterpoint, The Champlain Echoes, Thetford Chamber Singers and an audience sing-along.

Musician Jim Eichelberger recommended Paul Asbel in concert as the last in the summer concert series at the Meeting House on the Green in East Fairfield on Friday, September 25th from 7 to 9 p.m.
