Art Hounds: Christo, Dance & Portraits

North Country playwright and theater artist Ruby Berryman suggested Englewood Boys, her written performance piece based around Chicago artist Julian Williams' portraits of young male inmates. The artist reception is Friday, January 30th at 6 p.m. followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m. Both are free and open to the public at Catamount Arts Center in St. Johnsbury.

Paige Hinkson from Stowe recommended an evening with the world-renown artist Christo at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center on Thursday, February 5th at 7 p.m.

Mary Kay Dennison from Essex Junction suggested the Fifth Annual Dance Showcaseto benefit Puppets in Education at The Blackbox Theater in Burlington on Saturday, February 7th.

Rachel Bakerian of Waitsfield recommended Roundup Ready Art Paradeup through February 14th at the Mad River Green Shopping Plaza in Waitsfield.
