Art Hounds: Portraits, Stand-Up & Dance

Singer Richard Haines of New London, New Hampshire suggested a brunch and concert with Nancy Tripp performing the songs of Johnny Mercer at The Canoe Club in Hanover on Sunday, September 28th.

Susan Brisee of Jericho recommended an encore performance of The Vermont Youth Dancers, Carry On...A Song Will Rise on Thursday, October 2nd at the Dibden Center For The Performing Arts on the Johnson State College campus at 7 p.m.

Comedian Kathleen Kanz suggested Mass Appeal, a comedy showcase at Sweet Melissa's in Montpelier on Sunday, October 5th.

Amy Sheldon of Middlebury recommended Kate Gridley's ongoing portrait showing of young adults who have links to the town, called, Passing Through, at Mahaney Center for the Arts at Middlebury Town Hall. Psychologist Jeffrey Arnett of Clark University will give a lecture, titled, Why is 30 the new 20? at Dana Auditorium on the Middlebury College campus followed by a talk with artist Kate Gridley.
