Sanger, a bestselling author who has written extensively on foreign policy, nuclear proliferation, the presidency and economics, is a 1982 graduate of Harvard College. He has been part of two Pulitzer Prize-winning teams reporting on the Challenger disaster and the difficulty the Clinton Administration had controlling the export of U.S. technology to China.
