There will be a house concert with Sheesham and Lotus and Son in Bristol on Sun. May 18 at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Carol and Santo 1477 Burpee Rd. For info and reservations call Rick at 453-4613. Sheesham Lotus & Son will also perform with Mayfly, the old-timey partnership of Katie Trautz and Julia Wayne, at the Cabot Town Hall on Fri. May 16 at 7:00 p.m. and on Thurs. May 15th at the Skinny Pancake in Burlington at 8:30 p.m. Mayfly will also be performing on Sat. May 17 at Sumner Knight Chapel in Keene,NH at 7:30 p.m.

McBride & Lussen will be performing at "On The Rise" bakery in Richmond on Fri. May 16 at 7:00 p.m.

The Rochester Contra Dance will have its 2nd dance of the season Fri. May 15 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. at Pierce Hall (38 Main St). Adina Gordon will call to the music of The After Supper String Band.

The Whallonsburg, NY grange presents Sharon Katz and the Peace Train on Sat. May 17 at 7:00 p.m.  Sharon Katz will also be appearing at the Café Lena in Saratoga Springs on Fri. May 16.

Alan Greenleaf and the Doctor will be playing at Parker Pie in West Glover on Thurs. May 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Patrick Fitzsimmons will perform at Visions of Vermont in Jeffersonville on Sat. Mary 17 at 7:00 p.m.

The Brattleboro Women’s Chorus will perform in Putney on Wed. May 14 at Next Stage at 7:30 p.m.

Next Stage Arts Project is pleased to present the Wiyos performing two shows, one on Sat. May 17 at 7:30 p.m., and a family show Sun. May 18 at 2:00 p.m., both at Next Stage, 15 Kimball Hill in Putney.

Vermont musicians Patti Casey and Susannah Blachly will perform together at Bennington’s Meetinghouse Café on Fri. May 16 at 7:30 p.m. The Meetinghouse Café is at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 108 School St. in downtown Bennington.

Ace guitarist Richard Smith will perform at the Good Times Café in Hinesburg on Sat. May 17 at 8:30 p.m.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
