The 19th annual Burlington Irish Heritage Festival (BIHF) celebrates St. Patrick’s season by bringing you the best of Irish culture through music, dance and words. This year features old favorites along with several innovative events - their website is  www.burlingtonirishheritage.org

Bagitos in Montpelier presents an Irish Session on Sat. March 15th from 2:00 -5:00 p.m. with Sarah Blair, Hilari Farrington, Benedict Koehler, Katrina VanTyne, and many others.

There will be a Family Contra Dance at 279 VT RT 110 in Tunbridge on Fri. March 14th at 7:30 p.m.. Music by Harold Luce Band, and all dances will be taught.

The Dave Keller Band will perform in Barre on Fri. March 14th at the Elks Lodge at 8:00 p.m. in a benefit for the Granite City Coop, and on Sat. March 15th at the Spruce Peak Base Camp, Stowe Ski Resort at 2:00 p.m.

Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem will perform at the Richmond Library on Sun. March 16th at 4:00 p.m.

The Steel Wheels will be playing at the Café Lena in Saratoga Springs on Tues. March 11th at 7:00 p.m.

Paul Asbell will be featured at the Good Times Café in Hinesburg on Sat. March 15th at 8:30 p.m.

Susannah Blachly and Patti Casey will perform at the Montpelier Farmer’s Market on Sat. March 15th at 10:00 a.m.

On Friday March 14th,  the Artistree Community Arts Center & Gallery presents
Blackbird at 7:00 p.m. performing at the Gallery located at 281 Barnard Road at
the Mt. Tom Building in Woodstock.

On Sat. March 15th, Stone Church Arts Center of Bellows Falls presents Wind that
Shakes the Barley in the Stone Church at 7:30 p.m. The Stone Church is
located at 20 Church Street.

Vermont blues master Scott Ainslie will perform at the North End Studio in Burlington on Sun.
March 16th at 7:00 p.m.

Possumhaw will be playing on Sat. March 15th at the Brandon Music Café, 62 Country Club Road
Brandon at 7:30 p.m., and on Sunday March 16th at the New City Galerie, 132 Church St. in Burlington at 7:00 p.m.

Mark LeGrand will hold a CD release party at Sweet Melissa's in Montpelier on Sat. March 15th.

VT bluesman Bob Stannard will be playing with his band at Sweet Melissa’s in Montpelier on Thurs. March 13th at 8:00 p.m.

Blues Sanctuary, featuring Bob Stannard and Charlie Hilbert, will perform at the Vermont Arts Exchange on Sage St. in North Bennington on Sat. March 15th at 7:00 p.m. sharp!

The Flynn Center in Burlington presents the Irish supergroup Danu on Sat. March 15th on the mainstage

Sat. March 15th at 4:00 p.m. Gypsy Reel will open for Matisyahu at a free Festival at Jackson Gore on Okemo Mtn in Ludlow.

Sun. March 16th & Mon. March 17th Gypsy Reel will be at the Sitting Bull Lounge at Okemo from 2.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. and then down the hill at The Killarney on Rt 103 in Ludlow from 7:00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
