Art Hounds: Jazz, Glass, Comedy & Poetry

Betty Morsch recommended the Dixieland Jazz concert and Mardi Gras celebration with Woody Strobeck and the New Steel Pier Jazz Band this Friday, February 21st at 2 p.m. at the Equinox Terrace in Manchester Center. The concert and celebration are free. RSVP at 802-362-5141.

Glass artist Alyssa Oxley recommended the Supercool Glass exhibit at The Shelburne Museum's Pizzagalli Center through June 8th.

Comedian Bitsy Biron of Barre suggested the comedy showcase at Espresso Bueno in Downtown Barre this Friday, February 21st at 8.

Choir singer Sarah Kotkov of Guilford suggested Lucy Terry Prince & Black Man In Song at the Guilford Community Church on Saturday, February 22nd at 3 p.m., featuring tenor Irwin Reese and pianist Julia Bady presenting art songs and spirituals by African American composers.
