In December, Vermont was chosen by the Air Force for the first basing of the F-35s in 2020.

In 2013, Entergy announced that it would be closing Vermont Yankee next year. The Air Force chose Burlington as a base for the F-35 fighter jets. And the Vermont health care exchange got off to a rocky launch.
