Deb Reger

Commentator

Deb Reger, a community radio broadcaster since 2009, is producer and host of Moccasin Tracks, a weekly live show on WRUV FM Burlington, a community and student station at UVM.  The program celebrates the living culture of the Abenaki Nation and more than 500 other Nations thru music, art, news, interviews and all manner of Public Affairs programming. Reger notes that while the Abenaki ancestral territory, or N'Dakinna, is here in Vermont, it was not until 2010 that the Vermont State Legislature recognized these original inhabitants.
