Chittenden County Transportation Authority buses are off the road for the second week, after a weekend negotiation session failed. The preliminary results of the Doyle Town Meeting Day survey show very strong support for a number of bills that expand the role of government. The bills include a ban on drivers using cell phones, a GMO labeling plan, and a proposal to raise the state minimum wage. The Vermont House will consider repealing a big tuition break for in-state graduate students at UVM. Vermont Supreme Court Justice Geoffrey Crawford is in line to become the state's next federal judge.
