Senator Bernie Sanders says he’ll introduce legislation to make it more difficult for the federal government to secretly obtain phone and Internet records of millions of Americans; Senator Patrick Leahy says the 2013 Farm Bill will likely win full Senate approval next week, The Vermont Disaster Relief Fund has announced it has the funds to help Vermonters whose homes were damaged in the floods that occurred in late May.

Neal was a reporter and VPR's All Things Considered host from 2001 to 2014. He joined VPR in 1996, hosting VPR's jazz programming, including live performances from the VPR studios and the Discover Jazz Festival. Prior to VPR, Neal was a programmer and host for WNCS in Montpelier and WDEV in Waterbury. He holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
