VPR is teaming up with the Agency of Education and Big Heavy World to present Prom Goes #VTstrong. Burlington DJ Craig Mitchell hosts this statewide radio prom on Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m.Prom from home doesn’t mean you’ll be on your own. Join your classmates and students around the state to celebrate one of high school’s biggest moments! Listen together and join us online to share memories and party into the night.
We want YOU to be part of the event! Want to send a shout-out to someone? Record a message to have DJ Craig play during the broadcast? Share photos and videos from your favorite high school moments and memories? Share it all here! Submission deadline is Friday, May 29.
Here’s how it all works: starting at 7 p.m., radio prom begins and you can listen to VPR for the broadcast or join us on MixCloud. At 8 p.m., the broadcast stops but the party keeps going online! Join DJ Craig for more music, memories and appearances from notable Vermonters!

8:00 p.m. - Radio prom ends. If you’re listening on the radio, join us over on MixCloud for the after party!
10:00 p.m. - Event ends.

How do I watch on MixCloud?

Where can I submit my photos, videos and memories?
You can submit here. Please note that we may share any submissions in the broadcast or online. If you’re under 18, we encourage you to talk it over with your parents before sharing. If you have issues using this Google Form, let us know here.
Do I have to dress up in my prom attire? Will other people be able to see me?
We would love it if you dressed up in your would-be prom dress or suit! If you’re joining us on MixCloud, we will not be able to see you in real time.
