World-renowned pianist Simone Dinnerstein performs on the new VPR Steinway concert grand piano, recorded live in VPR’s Studio One in Colchester.

Ms. Dinnerstein helped select the piano, which was donated to VPR.

In 2016, VPR completed the expansion of its headquarters, including the addition of Studio One, a state-of-the-art performance studio. At the heart of this new studio sits one of the world's finest handcrafted musical instruments. The following video, by VPR's John Billingsley, tells the story behind the Steinway.

This event is sponsored in part by a gift from Ron and Jessica Liebowitz in support of classical music performance in Vermont.

VPR thanks Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph for their partnership in the event.
