“For many of these races, VPR’s debates are the only time that voters will hear the candidates hash out issues face-to-face,” said Patti Daniels, producer of VPR’s election debates. “Statewide elected officers wield power, and voters can rely on these debates to help them make informed choices when they vote.”

Media access at the debate sites is limited, but members of the press are asked to contact Daniels for details, pdaniels@vpr.net or 802-654-4330.

In addition to the debate series, VPR is interviewing all candidates for statewide office during Morning Edition, Vermont Edition, and All Things Considered.

At VPR.net, the public can compare the candidates side-by-side in the Meet The Candidates tool.

Michelle leads the team that oversees station branding, marketing, events, communications, and audience services. She joined VPR in 2002.
