Richard Sher, creator, executive producer and host of the long-running wordplay program Says You died on Feb. 9 after a battle with cancer. He was 66.
Richard created the program 19 years ago using his talent and passion for language and puzzles. The program is now carried on more than 100 public radio stations nationwide.
Richard Sher was a big fan of Vermont and brought the show to our region at least once a year. Says You will continue for this season — you can hear it Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. on VPR. We should know more about the future of the program in the coming weeks.
