Join VPR’s Garden Journal host, Charlie Nardozzi, on this VPR trip to explore the gardens and food of Barcelona, Spain and Provence, France September 16- 25, 2014.
We'll travel the countryside visiting gorgeous gardens, food markets, and historic sites in the cities and towns of this region. Imagine visiting a Gaudi inspired park in Barcelona during the day while watching flamenco dancing at night. We'll have wine tastings and cooking classes in both countries to compare and contrast the cuisines. We'll visit botanical and private gardens, spend a night in the medieval town of Carcassonne with its 52 towers, and stay in the quaint village of Saint- Rémy- de- Provence, famous for its farmer's market.
