This week, the VPR staff participated in two days of workshops on diversity. The sessions were led by Keith Woods, NPR's Vice President of Diversity in Programming and Operations, and Luis Clemens, editor of NPR's Code Switch project.
The project is part of VPR's commitment to serving our diverse audience in the best possible way by building a culture of diversity in our workplace. As a leading media institution, we set high standards for and inclusiveness in our engagement with our listeners. The NPR visit provided us with tools for improving our practices and the way we communicate with one another, source our stories, and engage with our audience.
