It came to our attention recently that today is National Fluffernutter Day, in which we celebrate the venerable sandwich made with peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff sandwich. Did you know that Marshmallow Fluff was invented in New England - Somerville, Massachusetts to be exact - and has been proposed as the official state sandwich of Massachusetts? It even has its own annual festival, called What The Fluff.
We're not the type to just let a holiday pass us by, especially not if it involves food, so All The Traditions Host Robert Resnik brought in fluffernutter fixins for the VPR staff at lunch today.
