Tara Torcoletti stands in front of the site of her home, which washed down the Rock River during Tropical Storm Irene.

Througout this week, VPR will present special news coverage and programs marking the two-year anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene, and we'd like you to contribute to the conversation.

You're invited to share your photos from before and after the storm. What did your surroundings look like before Irene, after the storm - and what do they look like today? You can post photos at VPR’s Facebook page, or email them to community@vpr.net

Next week's series will include stories about the ongoing impact of the storm in dollars and cents as well as the continuing personal struggles of families and communities across the state.

On Friday, August 30, listen for a special Vermont Edition hosted by Mitch Wertlieb. His guests will be Jon Graham and Beth Frock. Their Rochester home was destroyed during Irene and Mitch has shared periodic updates from the family during the past two years.

The complete coverage includes:

•An update on the Vermont Disaster Relief Fund, which raised $7.7 million for Tropical Storm Irene.

•More data from VPR’sMapping The Money project.

•VPR commentators will be share their reflections on Irene’s impact.

•Visits to farms and towns that were damaged by flooding.

•Conversations with people VPR met in the days after the storm.
