"Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!" - Live At The Movies

Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! Live In Theaters

Watch the week's news get the treatment it deserves in the comfort of the Palace 9 Theater in South Burlington, Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury, The Latchis Theater in Brattleboro or the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury, VT, when the NPR news quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! brings its star power to the big screen for a special LIVE performance sent nationwide to movie theaters.

VPR is pleased to host this special "Cinecast" in Vermont on Thursday, May 2 at 8 p.m. at the Palace 9 Cinema in South Burlington.

Host Peter Sagal and official judge and scorekeeper Carl Kasell will lead the broadcast live from the New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

For this stage adaptation of the weekly radio show, Sagal and Kasell will quiz Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! panelists - the comedians, writers and style icons Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca and Tom Bodett - special guests and listener contestants through a comic review of the week's news. Carl reading limericks! Celebrity guests answering oddball questions! Faces made for radio! You've heard it in 1D, now see it live in glorious...2D.
