ECI is a 100% employee owned heavy civil contractor. ECI specializes in civil construction and sitework, concrete construction, paving, bridges, railroad, and directional drilling.

ECI was established by registered professional engineers Alan Pidgeon and Craig Butterfield, in 1965. The business concept was to provide construction services beyond their engineering business which was established in the previous year as Engineers Incorporated of Vermont (EIV). Engineers Construction became a sister company to EIV. The early corporate history included the formation of a paving company (AC Paving) named for Alan and Craig. Learn more...
