Vermont Public Radio 2022 Podcast Entry: Brave Little State

Guided by our listeners' curiosity, Brave Little State spent 2021 reporting on topics that ran the gamut: from Amish settlement and Black comfort in Vermont to under-funded pensions and the controversial basing of a military jet in the state's most populous county.

And, because our audience, like all of us, needed a break from heavy stories last year, we also explored the beef between Vermont and our frenemy, New Hampshire, and dissected the mysterious (to some) appeal of our most famous homegrown jam band.

Brave Little State is VPR's people-powered journalism project. In each episode, we answer a question about Vermont that's been asked and voted on by our audience, with the goal of making our journalism more inclusive, more transparent and more fun.
