The Bernie Sanders presidential campaign said it is laying off about 225 staffers following losses in four out of five of Tuesday's primaries.
That brings the total staff to about 325 nationwide.
The campaign said this does affect some workers at the campaign headquarters in Burlington - but declined to say exactly how many Vermont employees were let go.

Most recent filings with the Federal Election Commission show 70 people in Vermont were employed by the campaign as of February 29 this year.
National campaign spokesperson Simone Sanders told VPR that she could not be specific about where the layoffs were made and how many people are affected in Vermont.
Another spokesman, Michael Briggs, said in an email that “[m]ost of those let go, had been working in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, the five states that held primaries Tuesday."
Briggs confirmed that the cuts included "some staff at the headquarters," but would not elaborate.
Outside the Sanders campaign headquarters on Church Street in Burlington, a few staffers float out of the office, but all refused to comment.
Despite the layoffs, Senator Sanders says his presidential campaign will continue through until the Democratic National Convention in July.
