Things To Do Around Vermont This Independence Day Weekend

There's a lot to do this weekend in Vermont. Here is a small sampling of celebrations around the state.

Communities around Vermont celebrate Independence Day in a variety of ways. There are plenty of fireworks displays, parades and community barbecues to choose from, some with unique twists. And there are some less traditional celebrations too...

If you'd like to make your Fourth of July a family learning experience, here are a couple of options:

And if two days of celebrations isn't enough this weekend, head to the Joe's Pond Pavillion in West Danville on Sunday for the Pope Memorial Library's annual Spirits of Vermont fundraiser and sample some Vermont-made libations:
