The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston was in South Burlington this afternoon. Eric Rosengren spoke at a local business luncheon about the state of the economy, and recent decisions made by the Federal Reserve.
Rosengren told local business leaders that the partial government shutdown will make it harder for the Fed to get a gauge on the economy. And he said that without reliable government statistics, it will be much harder to determine any ‘collateral effects’ of the government shutdown.
