Sen. Patrick Leahy and officials at Norwich University in Northfield are talking about a contract to develop software that would help combat cyber warfare.
Leahy and Norwich officials will outline today the grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology directorate to develop cyber war gaming software.
The funding will go toward developing the next generation software of a simulation-based cyber exercise tool developed for the financial sector.
Norwich University has an extensive cyber security program.
