Several prominent conservative leaders in New Hampshire are backing the immigration reform bill being debated in the U.S. Senate.
Fergus Cullen is a former chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party. He'll be joined at a news conference today by fellow former GOP chairmen Steve Duprey and Wayne MacDonald, as well as well as other conservatives who support the immigration bill.
The measure sets out a 13-year journey to citizenship for some 11 million immigrants in the country illegally.
It allows the path to citizenship to begin only after certain border security goals have been met.
It has the backing of both Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte.
