Tie My Own Shoes

Tie My Own Shoes

For one night only, on March 7 at 7:00 p.m., Vicki Ferentinos takes the stage in a venue close to her heart—having lived in the area for eight years—to perform and record her first comedy album. The show blends sharp stand-up with heartfelt storytelling, as Ferentinos shares her trials, triumphs, failures, and the everyday moments that make life wonderfully absurd—including the moment a coworker asked if she needed help tying her shoes.

Tie My Own Shoes explores the joys (and indignities) of aging, not always gracefully; her journey as a professional chef; and life with her highly organized, slightly compulsive, and deeply lovable wife. Honest, hilarious, and deeply human, the show invites audiences to laugh at the shared experience of figuring life out as we go.

Vicki Ferentinos is a comedian, chef, writer, and storyteller. She has been a top-three finalist in Vermont’s Funniest Comedian competition and won first place in the Vermont Comedy Festival One-Minute Comedy Battle. Her one-woman show LadyBug Warrior received strong reviews at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Ferentinos has appeared on Comedy Central, Bravo, The Food Network, WOR, and performs regularly throughout New England.

Opening the show is Alex St. Louis, a Burlington-based comedian known for her enthusiastic, dark-humored style. St. Louis produces two monthly comedy shows at Radio Bean and has performed across New England, opening for headliners such as Beth Stelling, Ariel Elias, and Jared Freid. A self-described goofball who believes comedy can heal the world, St. Louis is thrilled to open for her friend and favorite comedian, Vicki Ferentinos.

Audiences are invited to join this special night of laughter—one that promises warmth, honesty, and possibly a bumpy ride
