'Puppy Love' Movie Screening

'Puppy Love' Movie Screening
On Thursday, October 9 the Bellows Falls Opera House will screen Gail Gilbert’s independent film, PUPPY LOVE which tells a personal story with a universal message. “My puppy and his littermates suddenly became paralyzed and the vets told us to put them down," explains writer-director Gail Gilbert. The documentary follows a literal “life and death” struggle as everything from Chinese herbs to chicken soup is used to nurse the pups back to health.
"PUPPY LOVE is more than a movie about dogs -- it's a story about the power of the human spirit to conquer things that seem unconquerable," said Gilbert. A portion of the ticket sales will go to the Windham Country Humane Society, and Lupine Pet is donating a collar and leash set as a raffle at the event.
Doors open at 6:30pm, film at 7:00pm. The Opera House is handicapped accessible and concessions will be open. Not recommended for children under age 10. Q&A after the film with Gail Gilbert. Shown by special arrangement with the Bellows Falls Opera House and Rockingham Entertainment Development.
