Private Truth Telling

These sessions are for Vermonters impacted by state systems - past or present. Tell your truth in a protected space, with a Commissioner who will offer care and support. Offering sessions until March 2026. Sessions are remote, and can be scheduled at a time that works best for you. The Vermont Truth and Reconciliation Commission pursues community-centered healing and justice for specific marginalized communities. These include Indigenous, BIPOC, and mixed ethnic or racial heritage communities, those with disabilities or mental health conditions, and children as a vulnerable population.
