Pods for the Pulpit Craft Fair

Pods for the Pulpit Craft Fair

November 28 and 29, 2025 will mark the 29th Annual Pods for the Pulpit Crafts Fair, a major fundraising event for charity put on by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Upper Valley in Norwich. In the early days of the fair, members of the congregation made milkweed pod Christmas ornaments to sell at the fair; hence the name. This year’s proceeds will be given to The Upper Valley Haven to support the work they do for our community.

We strive to have crafters who are at a level of expertise such as those juried by the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. We typically have just over thirty vendors.

Some of the high-quality crafts that will be included this year are stained glass, children’s clothing, botanical alphabet creations, luxury mittens, hand-painted floorcloths, photography, woodblock prints, felted crafts, pottery, painted gourd ornaments, elf slippers, jewelry - both fine and fun - gemstones, quilts, wool rugs, colored etchings, handcrafted soaps and personal care items, Ukrainian eggs, educational art notecards and calendars, painting and printmaking. Lyme artist, Matt Brown, will be there and will again be donating one of his woodblock prints for a raffle.
