Tai Chi derives from martial arts first practiced in China more than 800 year ago. Over the centuries various styles of Tai Chi evolved.
Numerous studies have found that Tai Chi is one of the best forms of exercise for improving balance and reducing falls. The origin of the forms we'll be playing with, Sun style, is well-suited for nearly everyone, as it is more upright and uses smaller steps.
Join us in-person at the Springfield Vermont UU Meetinghouse (21 Fairground Road) or online. Those who register for the online option will get access to the recording.
Remember to clear your practice space, wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe and heel shoes for practice, have a full water bottle with you and let me know if you have any additional questions by emailing jo@jobregnard.com. We look forward to practicing with you!
