Catamount Arts in St. Johnsbury has announced an opening reception, on December 13th, from 2-4pm, in celebration of the 2025 Arts Connect at Catamount Arts Juried Exhibition. This annual exhibition showcases the work of emerging and established artists from across the region. Selected works are displayed in the Fried Family Gallery and the Rankin Gallery at Catamount Arts.

This year’s guest juror was Alexa René Rivera, program coordinator at Vermont Studio Center, in Johnson, and founder of WOVN.COUNTRY. The exhibition highlights a diverse range of media and perspectives from about 70 artists working with a vast variety of materials.

All are invited to attend the reception, free of charge, to meet the artists, explore the galleries, and enjoy the presentation of this year’s awards, including the Robert Manning First Prize, two additional prizes, and ten honorable mentions.
