Art Hounds: Documentary, Horror & Symphony

Gail Nunziata recommended the documentary Finding Traction, featuring Vermonter Nikki Kimball's fast Long Trail run. Screenings benefit Girls On The Run Vermont and will be shown this weekend in Brattleboro and Williston Central School.

Michael Tsang of Waterbury recommended the first-ever Vermont performance by 100-piece Shenyun Symphony Orchestra, playing Eastern and Western musical fusion on Sunday, October 4th at the Flynn.

Curator Gunnel Clark suggested the exhibit of eight female artists called, Edge of Nature at Comfort Farm in Stowe through October 15th.

Seamstress and dancer Melaney Pettini of Huntington suggested The Art Of Horror at the S.P.A.C.E. Gallery and opening reception on Friday, October 2nd from 5 to 11 p.m., with the gallery exhibit open through Halloween.
