Berry Gordy Jr.'s Motown Record Company in the 1960s was the "Sound Of Young America," and many of the famous early Motown hits were by female recording artists. This week My Place program continues a series titled "The Women Of Motown." Memorable recordings by the Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas and the Elgins are among the selections featured.
