Joel Najman spins records at VPR A Go Go in 2013.

Last Year's VPR -Go-Go dance party in Middlebury was such a big success that we are doing it again this year!
VPR A-Go-Go II is Saturday September 27th at 7 p.m. at Higher Ground Ballroom on Williston Road in South Burlington.

VPR's Joel Najman will be spinning the platters from the decade that took us from beach parties to Woodstock.

In advance of our fun 1960's dance extravaganza, this Saturday's My Place will preview some of the great dance music already requested by listeners for the party. We'll hear memorable recordings by James Brown, Aretha Franklin, the Kingsmen and many others.

Broadcast Saturday, September 20th at 8 p.m.

Joel has been a part of Vermont's radio scene since 1964. He began his career at WIPS in Ticonderoga, New York. In 1965, he moved to WFAD in Middlebury, Vermont, where he attended Middlebury College.
