When a chef breaks free from their own kitchen and visits another restaurant, what do they like to eat? Eric Warnstedt, chef-owner of Hen of the Wood in Burlington and Waterbury, looks for a comfortable, casual and communal experience. Sally Pollak, who writes for the "Savorvore" section of The Burlington Free Press, recently joined Warnstedt on a visit to the Kitchen Table Bistro in Richmond where they sampled cocktails, small plates and dessert.
