This week Joel Najman's My Place tells the story of drummer Jim Gordon, who from the early 1960's until the dawning of the 1980's was one of Los Angeles' premier session musicians, playing on dozens of hit records by many of the top recording artists of that era. Memorable recordings by Carly Simon, Eric Clapton and George Harrison are among the selections featured.
