Reveal: Heroin's Path

Tune in to VPR this Thursday, March 13 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. for the second pilot in the Revealseries, hosted by State Of The Re:Union’s Al Letson.

This program reveals the true path heroin takes from its origins in Ciudad Juarez to Chicago and across the Midwest, where it supplies dealers, addicts and teens.

Also in the program, Letson revisits the Center for Investigative Reporting's story on teens in solitary confinement on Rikers Island in New York City and also takes a look at the questionable relationship between Hollywood film productions and the American Humane Association's protection of animals on film sets.
