VPR Cafe: Where Are The Vegetarian Restaurants?

Glenn Russell / FREE PRESS
Insalate with arugula, celicata squash, cranberries, herbed chevre and pepitas at Revolution Kitchen

If you're a vegetarian, you've probably experienced the frustration of finding a vegetarian restaurant - or at least one that goes beyond the obligatory vegetarian pasta dish. Candace Page searched and found only a handful of vegetarian restaurants, but they serve food well worth the effort. Candace, who writes for the Savorvore Section of the Burlington Free Press, shares her favorite vegetarian eateries.  You can read more about what Candy found on Vermont's vegetarian landscape in the Free Press. One of her favorites is Revolution Kitchen in Burlington. You'll find their recipe for salad dressing below.

Broadcast Sunday, Febraury 9, 2014 at 10:45 a.m.
