On February 22, 2012 guitarist Billy Strange passed away at age 81. Best remembered as a key member of the elite cadre of Los Angeles studio musicians of the 1960's known as the Wrecking Crew, Billy Strange also distinguished himself as a singer, songwriter, arranger, and movie actor. This week Joel Najman's My Place program celebrates the life in music of Billy Strange.
